Registry hack brings triple column homescreen (6 mini tiles across) to WP8
Some interesting activity shows that it is indeed a possibility to get a triple column homescreen (with up to 6 mini tiles across) with WP8. Whilst that might be a welcome option for some, others might find the tiles becoming too small for use (hence why it may be limited to either those with larger screens). But it’s nice to see that resolution is not an issue, at least for the HD WP8 (versus needing Full HD).
Right now this is done with hacks. Hopefully MS sees fit to at least give this possibility for other WP8 owners (perhaps the 92x range if it does indeed require at least HD)
