Quick heads up on this translation from Janne. As you know, the Jolla phone is currently exclusive to DNA in Finland. Elisa are also interested but see more work needs doing to refine Sailfish and Jolla phone.

An Elisa manager is quoted as saying (my translation): “It is in consumer’s interest to have plenty of choice. We’ll gladly take Jolla into our sales mix, but at present it isn’t a mass product. Jolla has to do plenty with the performance of the phone.”

Contrary to the article, I do know of at least one case where a DNA store was reported to have a queue for Jollas in the first morning. I’d expect this to be the case in a few places at least, although of course the only really big queue was the pre-sale event queue.

Cheers Janne for the tip!
