Video: Nokia Treasure Tag, 24.90EUR, Available April, 6 month battery life

 

This morning we shared some pictures of the Nokia Treasure Tag. Now that the internet is easing up, I’ve been able to upload our first video.

• Find lost items attached to treasure tag
• Get alarm when item moves away from you (will check if this does it with the app in the background)
• Find location when the tag was ‘lost’ by moving out of distance (40 metres) this is by Nokia maps
• Get directions to the phone
• Press the tag itself to make the phone beep.

There’s an augmented reality bit which didn’t get demoed. I found out later that this is still in the works so the next Nokia product manager that demoed it for me didn’t want to mention it at all.
