Lumia 1520 Listed as the #1 Gaming Phone; HTC One M8 Delisted for Targeting Benchmarks

We all know that the Lumia 1520 is a beast when it comes to specs, going toe to toe with the latest Android powerhouses and usually coming out on top (not to mention how much lighter WP is on processors). Now we’ve learnt that Rightware’s Power Board benchmarking has relisted the Lumia 1520 as the world’s best gaming device; after the brand-new HTC One (M8) was delisted for “targeting their benchmarks”; meaning that the processor specifically allotted their benchmarks priority over system tasks simply to get a better score (giving an improper representation of the phone’s actual performance).

Previously the HTC One M8 was listed as #1 on the list, with the Lumia 1520 coming in second place, however we’ve learnt that this was due to the benchmark targeting by HTC; which has since been removed from the list, making the Lumia 1520 king of gaming… Again
