This isn’t simply about putting the 1020 in a pool but diving into quite some depths that would otherwise break smartphones without a special external housing.

It’s a beefy unit indeed, almost looking like a DSLR sans lens. There are mounts so you can put it on a tripod or other related accessories. The touch screen is accessible under water. There’s an extender portion above the lens to add additional lenses it appears.
