According to ECNS.cn, a Taiwanese man who fell of a ravine was saved by his Nokia phone. Stranded, the rescuers were able to pinpoint his location thanks to the long battery life allowed his signal to be tracked long enough for the search party to find him.

They zeroed in on the man’s location by ringing his phone and listening out for the ringtone!
