Devices and updates to software weren’t the only thing on show by Microsoft today at their IFA press conference in Berlin. Alongside the Lumia 730, Lumia 735, Lumia 830, Lumia Selfie App and Lumia Denim, Microsoft unveiled a range of new accessories.
The Microsoft Screen Sharing for Lumia phones (yes, that’s the actual name) accessory, the HD-10 is an NFC enabled Miracast accessory. With a hockey puck design and removal NFC coaster-style disc, you can have your Miracast set up to a TV whilst remotely sending content.
Connecting to your TV via HDMI and powered via Micro-USB, the HD-10 will be coming in at a price of USD$79 and will be available in white or black later this month.
Next, we have the DT-903, a “Smart” wireless charging plate from Microsoft. Building upon the previous charging plates, the DT-903 comes with NFC and LEDS to better inform you about the state of your Lumia smartphone.
Requiring the Lumia Denim software update, when your BT 4.0 enabled Lumia is near the charging plate, the plate will glow subtly when it detects that your device is running low on power. If your Lumia gets a SMS, Email or Missed Call notification, the charger will blink to inform you. Pretty neat, huh?
Coming in Orange, White and Green, the DT-903 will be available next month for a price of USD$59.
Whilst still on the subject of wireless charging, the DT-601 was announced. A small an portable wireless charging pad, priced at a very low USD$39, connects over USB so you can use it whether your at home, in the office, or even out and about connected to your laptop or any random USB port.
There is also a flip-shell case for the Lumia 830, that retains wireless charging, coming in Orange, Green and Black. The CP-627 will be coming next month for a price of just under 25 euros.
Finally, the Lumia 735 will be getting a wireless charging back case, the CC-3086 and it will come in green and orange, for just under 15 euros. We’ve reached out about compatibility with the Lumia 730, and will update as soon as we can.
