I’m a big fan of  the wallet case. If you’re not using them you must have seen someone else with a wallet case. As well as adding protection to the phone, they act as storage (no more wallet needed), as well as a stand when watching and that book shape helps hide what’s on the screen to others.

I picked this up from eBay. Roughly 20GBP. No particular brand, it just mentioned genuine leather. It was shipped from Israel and it took one week. The seller is very friendly (no, not been paid to say these things).

The previous cases I’ve used were black plastic ones. They’ve held up really well, the only reason I’ve made the switch is because this looked so much better, plus the wallet bit was even better.

It has four spaces for cars (instead of three) and the fourth pocket has a clear view space so you can put an ID card there or some other card you might want in view.Leather CaseIMG_1389Nokia Lumia 1520

As usual, the pockets are housed in a flap which is accessible from the midline. You can store full sized bank notes there due to the size of the 1520.

Here it is as a stand.

As you’ll see in the video, I’ve got two of these cases. The other I’ve modified to replace the original plastic case with a tougher one.Leather CaseIMG_1393Nokia Lumia 1520

I attach my keys via the two slots at the back. This seems fairly strong enough to hold his and even have the 1520 dangling from the wrist strap but caution advised.

Note that I could have been neater with the gluing but I was on the train, no seats in the carriage segments.
