From NASA, to Nokia, medical equipment and other places precision optics is expected, ZEISS is highly renowned.

There’s reports that they’ll also be bringing out a virtual reality headset and for a more affordable 99 USD.Screen Shot 2014-10-12 at 18.58.37

However, it’s essentially a fancy Google Cardboard slot for a smartphone.

It’s currently only compatible with the 4.7″ iPhone 6 and the SGS 5. They do however let you vote so there can be a custom tray built for your device.

The leaders in this field obviously include Facebook’s Oculus and Sammy’s Gear VR (which was built with Oculus).

I guess here’s where a curved screen phone that’s super high res could help. I think this screen is built in to the Gear VR.
