With 12 hours to go last night and 30K left to reach the second stretch goal, Jolla fans surged and got 100K for their Jolla tablet.

1.824 million (and 55 dollars!).

13,115 funders made that goal possible, at an average of about $139 each!

Kudos to Jolla and the world’s first crowdsourced tablet.

The second stretch goal means split screen is now available. Odd for a software feature some say but others have mentioned that work takes time and there may be licensing to pay.

Looking forward to these new tablets in 2015! Nokia N1 and the likes. I checked my iPad this morning (the uni one) and unfortunately the small crack on the screen extended eeeverywhere. So I’ll need to either get that fixed or get some new tablet too.
