Based on the N1, here’s the Nokia C1. It’s a concept device which has many design styles of the N1, and thus essentially all look like the iThings that have popularised (not started) this image.

The supposed specs aren’t all that impressive unless this is meant to smash the $100 mark. 5″ 720p screams of Lumia affordable mid-range.

It was also said to be intel inside, with 2GB RAM and 32GB memory on board…all pretty standard. GSM Arena said they expected this to be announced in Q1 2015 prior to realising it is a concept. Even if it was, that’s a LOOONG delay until it’s actually allowed to be on sale in 2016 eh?

What we want is something like the N1 – looks high end, with high end specs inside, BUT it’s price super competitively. It would be nice to see Nokia somehow get their PureView in their own devices. They still own the tech though it’s now Microsoft who are continuing development.

Cheers Dan for the tip!
