Ex Nokia guys make some wireless In-ear phones, 5g “Earin”

Long-time MNB reader, Stylinred tips this news after coming across a story at TheVerge about some nifty wireless in-earphones.

On checking out the “Earin” site, the about-us page revealled that the folks behind this interesting in-ears were ex Nokians:

They’re pretty much like ear-plugs that you’d neverwant to lose as they play music. I wonder how well they’d stay in your ear.

I like what they’ve done with the storage compartment. Whilst they’re away, they charge the in-ears back up. This means they don’t have to carry all the charge in the in-ears themselves.

Something that’s pretty cool – you can use just one bud at a time whilst the other is charging. There’s been plenty of times when I’ve been listening to music but only through one ear so I could hear announcement/the door/my surroundings. It’s cool to have that option.

They’ve got an app for WP, iOS and Android.

They’re small and light, at 5g per bud! Each has 50mAh that delivers 2.5-3hours playback. The storage/charger has 600mAh. They equate that to up to 10 hours play time.

The only thing we’d like to know about is the quality of the audio. They describe it as high quality audio with: “high quality balance armature speaker giving you a perfect music experience”.

If you have concerns about these falling out – they’ve got this “Concha” (just a fancy thing for your external ear) thingamabob.
