560,000 apps for WindowsPhone and Windows

The latest numbers from Microsoft indicate that there are now 560,000 apps for the combined wp and Windows stores.
Eventually the  goal of course is to have universal apps for of Windows,  until then we have the numbers from the two stores. They should hopefully accelerate app building even further. You can’t install WP apps on Windows and vice versa right?
It’s not all about the numbers, but if might help those who instantly dismiss because there are no apps.
They also point out that they have 45M downloads for office for iPad … You know, the one that’s better than the WindowsPhone version.
