The Lumia 435 was announced last month, and marketed as the “most affordable Lumia ever”, and with starting price tags at 70 Euros that’s a well deserved title. Of course you can currently grab a Lumia 520 for ~$30 or even a Lumia 635 for $50, but neither of those devices launched with such a low price-tag (which is bound to fall sooner or later, especially once online retailers get their hands on it). Furthermore the Lumia 435 although technically the only member of the new 4xx family, actually has better specs than both the current 5xx (excluding hte 535) and the 630. It’s confusing to see the word “Microsoft” on the phone instead of NOKIA, but I guess it’s one of the facts of life. With 1GB of ram and 8 GBs on board storage, as well as a front facing (VGA) camera and a rear 2 MP camera (no flash); the Lumia 435 has pretty much everything that’s required from a modern day smartphone.
