Tom Warren from TheVerge reports that Microsoft’s Voice assistant, Cortana, will be available on iOS and Android. It won’t be as powerful as the inbuilt Cortana for Windows due to how well Cortana is integrated into Windows but it’s a start.

Android has Google Now and iOS has Siri. Google Now voice assistant isn’t a patch on Cortana. I actually find it annoying how bad texting by voice or trying to add things to calendar is with Google.

Below is the Phone Companion App for Windows 10 which aims to make transitions between whatever phone and Windows device easy.

iOS/Android apps on Windows. Cortana for iOS/Android. Some might see this as having no reason to go Windows. Others might see this as the start of the next Windows domination.
