Microsoft forced to shutdown Facebook integration in Windows and Windows phone

people-concept-hubTom Warren reports that due to changes in Facebook API, MS has been forced to shutdown its facebook connect features.

One of the things I enjoyed about WP was how easy it was to fetch contact info from a lot of other accounts. Having facebook in the people hub was awesome and they often touted this in ads and promos. But perhaps Facebook prefers you spend facebook time within facebook apps.
