Office for Mac hasn’t had a major update since the 2011 version. It’s been asking for updates pretty much on a weekly basis but today Microsoft has unleashed the 2016 version. I can’t wait since office 2015 on the PC looks awesome and I got that by using my then student Office 365 subscription (which I got because it was actually cheaper with oodles more space than the monthly OneDrive charge).

The one off download purchase will be available in September BUT if you’re an Office 365 subscriber, you can get it today. It’ll tie in nicely across all of my devices, Windows PC, Windows 10 Mobile, on Note 4 and now on my Mac too. I think Publisher remains a PC only thing.

I’m downloading it via our appalling new Sky broadband (AVOID AVOID) so I’ll probably find out next week how it is to use.
