Cortana for Android Leaks, Here’s Our Hands On Video

| July 18, 2015 | 2 Replies

DSC07950A while back when it was first announced that Microsoft’s amazing personal assistant would be going to both Android and iOS rather than staying a feature of Microsoft’s own OS , it was met with a certain degree of backlash. Well today an early beta build of Cortana for Android leaked online, and we over at GeekOnGadgets were able to test it out on our LG G4. Here’s a video of it below:

The biggest difference between Cortana on WP and on Android is the slower response on the Android counterpart, as well as some what weaker voice recognition. Of course Cortana on Android doesn’t have all the luxuries of Google Now either, currently it doesn’t have a widget nor does it run by calling out “Hey Cortana” in the background, but I’m sure the Widgets at least should arrive before the final release.
