It’s gonna be Yuuuge!: Massive 18.4″ Nokia Android Tablet in the works?

GSM Arena reports that another Snagdragon 835 powered Nokia is in the works, but this one seemingly with an 18.4 inch screen.

It’s so big, you’ll feel so presidential i.e. like using a regular size tablet and having microscopic hands.

Initial reaction…That’s mental! Is it a straight forward 18.4″ or could it fold open and become 18.4 inches :p.

The specs are top notch. The only thing that might be nice to know is what battery is powering this thing. Samsung put out a similar but mid-range 18.4″ Galaxy View with what seemed like a paltry 5700mah battery (though it’s reportedly about 7h constant use which isn’t bad for 18.4 inch). Other specs wise, Nokia’s is more of an aircraft carrier loaded with battleship guns.

Checking out reviews for the 18.4″ Sammy, Danny Winget said he used his daily, being great for content consumption but noted the lack of a back camera (Nokia has two), and a pants 2mp front camera (front camera reportedly does 4K/12mp – unsure of quality), being midrange (Nokia has the SD835), 1080p display (Nokia 2k screen), No HDMI input (would be nice if Nokia had one). I hope Nokia doesn’t put an ugly stand like the g-view.

I would LOOOOVE to see someone trying to take a photo with this.

I’m scared of what the pricing might be, especially given these high end specs. But at least there’ll be less regrets that you’re huge tablet isn’t as powerful as the smaller ones.

Cheers Alvester for the tip!
