New Nokia 3310 pulling in massive crowds @MWC @NokiaMobile

| February 27, 2017 | 9 Replies

This morning, we got to MWC pretty early so the Facebook Live video shot this morning is completely different to what’s happening right now.

I pretty much can’t move around the Nokia Mobile section of the Nokia stand. If I didn’t see it earlier, I wouldn’t have even known it was about the Nokia 3310 because the number of people clammering to see the new 3310 made it impossible to even peer across the edge.

This was before everyone arrived.

    Really?

Very hard to believe. I cannot believe that Nokia (HMD) couldn’t capitalize on the mighty 3310.

The new design looks horrible IMHO. This MWC was a disappointment and embarrassment to Nokia and it’s fans. I’m sure there will many who feel like me.

    I feel so let down.

      EricLovesSymbian says:

They should have made something similar to the LG g6 or upcoming Galaxy s8.

Maybe a Nokia 8 or 9 or whatever number they will choose.

      Something jaw dropping and enticing!

        Agreed 100%.

I still cannot believe Nokia messed up 3310 :/

I think is a good start. But please give us a flagship in a near future

I believe this was an excellent way of getting Nokia phones on everyones’ mind once again. They teased with 3310 nostalgia well in advance and now that they re-released it, it’s been all over the internet, including non-tech media outlets.

Although a flagship phone would have been great, I think this is a good start and well-thought way of getting people’s attention.

“I don’t think this is the last you will see of the 3310” said someone somewhere Nokia related in Barcelona.

I really hope so. At least the ethos of the 3310. What if 3310 became a series all by itself? 😀

Maybe release a newer one with a closer design, a monochromatic theme and the old monotones. They should have capitalized on this more I think.

I haven’t checked out the 3310 as yet but I will say that the design seems inferior to the original. .

Agreed. It sucks. It looks really ugly. Like a little girl’s phone or something.

Clean departure from the professional sharp looks of 3310 🙁
