Good Guy HMD’s #MWC Hospitality booth; Phones, Food, Drink, Charging, Seats, Warmth and WiFi @NokiaMobile

At MWC, HMD had a whole booth just to provide somewhere to get away from all the hubbub.

There were frames with Nokia phones of past and present dotted around the place. Remember this one?

You could rest, take a seat, get some drinks or lovely grub, charge up your devices and blog over their separate WiFi. It was also a chance to get a more casual chat with those working with Nokia phones at HMD.

This was a really nice Connecting People Nokia spirit. I didn’t really see any other manufacturer do this (not in Hall 3). At the most, I saw one had coffee. HMD’s was at another level. This is what Nokia did at the last MWC I attended at comments were made back then that they really did look after people.

They had some really nice nibbles at the launch on Sunday too, as well as the evening party.

Seating was pretty scarce on the main Hall. Food was limited to the little stalls and they didn’t look appetising (and you had to buy them). HMD’s hospitality booth gave that away.

On Monday, from 7 to 9, it becomes a place to mingle and connect. And apparently this was gonna be every night at MWC.

Thanks HMD! Cheers for this hub of niceness and of course for bringing a couple of bloggers from Android and Nokia scene here (Hat tip to Barney and Big D).

There’s still plenty more MWC posts to go, alas, I must dash off to work :). I do enjoy the contrast of these activities, they’re quite surreal.
