Weekend Read: Nokia 303 Review – Dangerously Close to Smartphones (by GSM Arena)

The Nokia 303 has an 8 page review over at GSM Arena where they conclude that this wallet friendly QWERTY is ‘dangerously close to smartphones’. 1GHz again for a ‘dumbphone’, just wait till Nokia fully utilise that with more smartphone like devices this year, eventually we’ll see the fruits of whatever Meltemi and Qt for the next billion produces that truly blurs the definition of smartphone. In an instant, Nokia could once again be the unrivalled producer of ‘smartphones’ since Nokia could potentially be getting 1m of these to the hands of consumers every DAY.

Even though this is a budget phone it is neither that in looks or build.

On the keyboard, they’re happy enough with the ‘pleasingly tactile’ keys and rather impressed with the backlight

As usual with S40, the battery is a champ. My little sister uses a C3-01 and she only charges it maybe a couple of times a week, if that.
