Wordfeud Released for Windows Phone

One of the longtime favorite iOS and Android games has landed on the WP platform, bringing all it’s jumbled letter goodness to the screens of your Lumias (have to chalk up an Appaday for this one). Word feud comes to WP along with a live tile to give you the latest notifications of the in game play- for those who haven’t heard of it Wordfeud is an online scrabble Player vs. Player game where you can play against people all over the world on multiple OSes. (Bonus points granted for using the Lumia 800 int he screens)

We’ve made a few small changes here and there as part of adapting the game for the Windows Phone platform. But if you’ve played Wordfeud before you’ll feel right at home with the Windows Phone version. Perhaps the most exciting difference is that Wordfeud for Windows Phone features Live Tiles. On the front you’ll find the number of games waiting for you as well as an unread chat indicator. On the back there’s a brief summary of the last move as well as the opponent’s profile picture.
