Makerbot is probably one of the more well known 3D Printers, especially so because their 3D printers are designed to be more affordable than your regular sort.

Continuing the story about Nokia’s DIY printable Nokia Lumia 820 covers, the folks at Makerbot have actually given this a go and printed their own Nokia covers.

Description

We’ve taken the file for the Nokia Lumia 820 custom removable shell and optimized it to work with the MakerBot Replicator 2 Desktop 3D Printer. It’s an awesome shell that fits great!

I guess if you wanted to (and knew how to), you could modify the template so it includes an optional tilt stand. For future Nokia models it could be additional attachments slots for lenses, wrist straps, tripods etc, etc.
