Evidently, based on the reaction of that awes inspiring promo yesterday, Nokia’s keynote had too much awesome that needs highlighting again. Our quick response of the keynote from that day was posted here.

This was yet another one of the brilliant demoes that shoes off what you can do on the Nokia Lumia 1020 that competitors can only dream of.

Needle in a haystack refers to looking for something in a large space that’s pretty much impossible. Elop introduces the 1020 as being able to solve age old riddles, such as literally finding a needle in a haystack. The 1020 can do what is impossible for the competitors. Capture so much detail of such a large space that you can zoom in to find not only the needle but the eye of it.

We need to have more demoes like this. Remember all those Nokia 808 PureView posts where we highlighted the crazy zooming from THE SAME PHOTO? I want ads where people zoom and enhance, see things they couldn’t see with their own eyes, like the 925 ads the 1020 is the perfect example of ‘more than your eyes can see’. I wanna see a Where’s Wally/Waldo picture taken by a 1020. Detail finding exercises that haven’t been done before because the mass public never had this power until now (as the 1020 should be pushed by Nokia)

This was an attempt of putting that as it’s own promo but it doesn’t have the same excitement. More over because it doesn’t zoom in as much.
