File Manager for WP8 coming in store this May

Apologies for the confusion of where things are posted. But I thought it’s important to keep posting here still whilst Ali is posting over at GOG. I’m still rather snowed under with exams and project deadlines.

Anyway, Joe Belfiore was on a reddit AMA and amongst a few of the questions he answered, one was about a file manager. It’s not revolutionary, though it is a nice option to have I guess for those who want it.

It appears to be as you’d expect from a File Manager. I’d like to have more icon views too, something that looks slightly more appealing like the OneDrive app. The rest of the AMA is entertaining and worth a read.

*** YES *** We are doing a File Manager for WP8.1! I know a LOT of you are looking for this (thanks for the tweets, I’ve read them all). In fact, I’ve been running a build of it on two of my phones for the last week or so and it’s getting to pretty good shape.
