Forbes: Nokia lumia 630 performance above its rivals, budget marvel, iPhone 5C on a budget
Prior to the Nokia Lumia 630 was the Nokia Lumia 620. Prior to the launch of the iPhone 5C, a few large blogs noted that the rumoured design looked like a Nokia Lumia 620. So it’s funny to see Forbes saying the 630 now looks like a 5C. They do note that it clearly has Nokia ‘phone’ somewhat all over it but there’s a ‘hefty dose’ of 5c. Hmmm.
Anyway, they review the Lumia 630 and in part the new WP8.1 (though a separate piece is linked) and they quite like it. They’re fans of the removable back giving access to the SIM, MicroSD slot and battery though that means for them that the back feels cheaper than the more premium lumias though the entire thing does feel sturdy. The position of the lock button seems to be an issue as they feet that should be on the top.
They find WP8.1 to be the best version so far. Specs wise, they praise the 630 for being a good bang for your buck. Performance wise, as Nokia advertised this being ‘no compromise’ Forbes says it is a step above rivals. Compared to other rivals in similar price range like the Moto E, the camera is a lot better too. The battery is more than all day, an important but overlooked feature by most, another being a decent external speaker.
“this is by far the best budget Windows Phone handset to date.”
