Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word – separate updated apps soon?
Viipottaja and Arsalan noticed than in Nokia’s 1520 tile video, in the app list, you could see both Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel as separate apps. Could they be coming with an improved version in an update? Viipottaja even mused as to whether it might be the full suite.
At the moment, whilst there is ‘Office’, the MS Word implementation is nothing more the most basic of notepads. It’s almost a joke really.
The video does note that the screens are simulated. Hence why the app list isn’t even in an alphabetical order or that long pressing takes a lot longer to appear with only pin to start and uninstall showing.
