Video: Jolla’s Sailfish Camera UI
Hamanoo McDougachi is back with a closer look at the Sailfish UI, focusing again on some of the things that might have been missed in other reviews.
A nice touch I wasn’t aware of was being able to move the capture key. That really helps to get the right grip on the phone, so you’re not having to maneuver your hands based on the position of the shutter key. (Good if you don’t have a physical shutter, and even if you have one, it still is a nice option). The use of volume rocker makes way for the missing shutter button.
The focusing is a bit slow. Although he says changing something like resolution of the pics is as simple as… it didn’t seem simple at all. The best implementation of this was the N900 that just let me change resolution on the viewfinder screen. Now that’s simple.
