The original article is in Spanish, but thanks to Eric who gave us the gist that Nokia Networks is competing for a major infrastructure deal in Mexico.

The deal is expected to be worth 10 Billion dollars (USD unless translation software muddled up) with 20,000 antennas to be built.

It seems it might be for a new mobile network.

Alcatel-Lucent, Huawei, Motorola Mobility have also shown interest.

Cheers Eric for the tip!
