Ozo Masterclass: Streaming in VR

Part 2 in the OZO Masterclass. This time, thinking about how to stream a live concert.

I remember the first time I saw a concert in VR, I was like “woah this is amazing” and then “woah, look at that, only the front row are actually screaming. Everyone else behind them who you would’t see in a normal view look bored as hell” haha.

It was really immersive. But I guess for a major concert this would be something epic to try if you couldn’t be there in person.

Other music related acts in VR are also awesome. Lion King in VR was sooo cool.

Jump to 51:40 for some 360 singing.

VR streams are so interesting as there’s no escaping. It’s like having a time machine where you can rewatch another piece of memory that would otherwise have been physically impossible to have experienced cos you were looking elsewhere. Now you can look everywhere all the time at the same time. VR streams can also switch between different OZO cameras so that they could sort of direct you to what they want you to see but you still have the option to look around.

Part 1 in case you missed it:
