Cnet Asia's Nokia N97 Review!

| May 22, 2009 | 6 Replies

a1Ah, the trickling of N97 reviews begins. Not long now till there’s a flood of them. This one is by Cnet Asia’s Geeknomics blog . Some key points from the review

  • Seamless experience just like PC and Laptop
  • Resistive touch is not the same experience as iPhone’s capacitive screen. iPhone is literally just a touch whereas you need a tad bit more pressure with the N97. I don’t buy the whole glove/finger nail/using stylus for alternate text input. No more resistive please, Nokia; the benefits of capacitive do indeed outweigh the cons.
  • The placement of the spacebar on the right. Difficult at first but something you get used pretty quickly.
  • N-gage does not come preinstalled.
  • Camera responds pretty fast
