Nokia N97 and N86 on Sale today in UK!
So today, the N97 has been launched in the UK, and it is ANNOYINGLY exclusively on sale via Nokia stores until the 26th June from which it will be available to the rest of your usual networks and stores. (Bad news for anyone trying to get a better deal for their contracts)
However, it seems that one retailer, mobilephonesdirect.co.uk (I am not endorsed to mention them), seem to have the N97 available today and on contract. Even better is that they seem to have excruciatingly good deals, that I’ll be astonished if even a loyalty deal would match.
At the moment, their cheapest contract plan works out at £484.63 for 12 months – that’s cheaper than the handset on its own (£499.99)! You get 150 minutes and 150 texts on T-Mobile’s Combi 25 plan. And you can pick it up today!
If you are picking up the N97, you most likely will want/need “unlimited” web, and that addition would work out at £520.31 for 150 minutes/150 text/unlimited web.
Obviously if you’re a chatter box or a text fiend you will want to up your allowances to something more reasonable.
