Tomorrow (Friday) I’ll be heading up to London for the onedotzero event. The main star for us of course is the Nokia N900 which is controlling a special installation (see video below)

There’ll be a series of workshops as well as some time with Nokia Product Managers and Devices. Hands on with Nokia N900? Yes please Nokia!

“The Art Of Open Source:

an introductory workshop showcasing the development potential of the maemo platform. maemo developers will explain how you can get involved with this dynamic developer community, the many different applications this open source platform can facilitate and the new nokia technologies that are expanding the possibilities of open source collaboration between designers, developers and users.”

There’ll be something cool happening Saturday evening and then more workshops on Sunday.

This Monday I got an invite from the delightful Donna of WOMWorld (big thanks ^_^) and today have received a bouquet of train tickets sorted out by the WOM Team (thanks Katie!)

I guess I’ll be tweeting throughout the weekend as things are happening. Should you wish to check that out, I’m @jaymontano.

If  you have questions for N900 product managers you want to ask, or suggestions on things I should check out first in the Nokia N900, I’d like to hear from you.

I couldn’t make it this time, but I feel a lot better knowing that you’ll be there to report back as we tend to ask similar question. Have fun!

      Thanks James!

Luckily I had the weekend reserved to move my stuff back into Uni. Shame dude. Would have been good to have seen ya again (that is, if I didn’t get the space after you declining…then thanks! kidding).

It’s a bit bad now knowing I could have met Mr B again.

P.S. Seriously…when I’m settled again in Uni, we should defo sort this podcast thing out…or some kind of combined venture thing at least.
