Nokia X9 Leaked or Clone?

No, this isn’t the Nokia X9 concept

This is a handset that claims to possibly be a Nokia X9.

Is it a chine fake or a leaked handset? We’ve seen some awful clones of horrid non-existent mobiles (NokiPhone 3000 or Nokia E97i) , but we’ve also seen clones of actual handsets (e.g. Nokia Twist).

It’s a very Nseries N97/Mini design with the chrome trim. The screen is either really wide or on split level to have a keypad area and a screen area. That’s cool but not so when considering X6 is all screen.

I don’t get why the screen is off centre (horizontally). Maybe there are touch buttons?

In another one of daanno’s recent uploads, he’s got a photo of a fake Nokia Erdos  (the front screen but should be completely polished stainless steel – i.e. no black except keyboard – probably from  this – is the Erdos available/) so maybe he’s picked up a batch of china clones.

There is probably a X9 out there in production but whether the image here  is that official device – well that’s most likely a no.
