Camb078 has reuploaded another video showing N8′s silky smooth Album Art cover flow.
You also get a little demo of the speakers, but they sound odd probably due to camera recording it than N8 itself, as I’ve heard the speakers in person and compared to other videos and N8 sounds much better.
There’s no blog post yet but Cambo should soon post it up on blog-n8.fr

Where are the transitions? Its no good showing us a black, blank screen when rotating from portrait to landscape, and back, people want to see transitions. Come on Nokia, you know better than this.
“it’s slow”….we cannot compare N8 with iphone in terms of speed. N8 is more like a computer than iphone. and that visual effects are just not useful and unnecessary.
I have both right now and the Nokia is way way faster, no question. However, the music player doesn’t even allow me to select the artist and shuffle through ALL their albums, only shuffle album one by one! That sucks and i’m returning my N8 tomo. They just can’t beat iPhone for music, everything else it wins on though!
so sad it’s so slow. nokia will never beat iphone
Symbian might not but MeeGo has potential.
may be
It is prototype firmware

Hi Micky.
I’m hoping it’s coming. I frikkin hate fade in fade out. It’s such a cheap “effect” if you can even call it that for rotate.
Symbian^1 on i8910 can do it.
