What were you filming/snapping the new year fireworks with? Iain Wallace AKA @the_accidental took his Nokia N8 to Edinburgh and the results look fantastic. No extended exposure setting necessary, I think his N8 was set to Auto (though if there was an option and you could put it on a tripod, that would also look pretty awesome).

There’s also a video below and if you’ve got a decent pair of headphones or speakers, it looks and sounds phenomenal – like you’re actually there.

Now let’s not just look at Iain’s fireworks in Scotland, let’s check out all the N8 recorded fireworks around the world :).

Oover to some youtube users.

little steps, just a short stroll to London, England  by achieverschoice. Looking Awesome btw.

Ok, now we’re ready, let’s go all the way, way down to  Sydney, Australia – I had to check if this was filmed by N8. It starts of during New Years Eve day time (wow, a phone recorded that) and moves on to the fireworks at night. By retskcir

Quick hop to Asia, let’s check out Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur with thedarkknight055. Is that Irish folk music?

Here’s Thailand with FritzPinguin

Not really sure if this is in China (only the writing is Chinese and they could be recording from ANYWHERE) – BY jack2293

Move over again to anther continent, let’s go to Africa and visit Mozambique fireworks with mwjenit92

Back to Europe, Of course – Finland with some home fireworks this was titled double cannon or Tuplatykki with Vapunen. I’m guessing it’s Finland based on the use of Finnish.

To Hungary with nemethgabesz

To Latvia from janchix03

Amsterdam with jayxflash

Germany with ixtank

Now I can’t seem to find any from America. No Nokia love in US – no way :p. Having said that, nothing from north America at all – looking at you, Canada :p. Still early days – perhaps some more will be uploaded soon. Or Latin America.
