Video: Demo of Tom Clancy’s H.A.W.X HD on the Nokia N8

This week we saw a new 3D game, Tom Clancy’s H.A.W.X appear on gameloft’s site and soon after on Ovi Store. Despite the N900 and Android demo, we didn’t have visuals yet on an actual Symbian^3 device so see what it would look like.

Camb078 from blog-n8 has got a video below showing the game in action. The camera is a touch blurry but you can see it’s very fluid and looks like a lot of fun. Reader Deaconclgi agrees in his mini comment review:

“In my short play time with hawx, I have noticed that the game has smooth, detailed graphics and accurate flight mechanics. I am NOT a pilot so it took a few tries to learn to properly control my plane as I was trying to fly like I was playing Asphalt. I found out that I am a MUCH better virtual pilot when using the onscreen controls and I was able to complete the training mission. Upon completion, I gained enough experience points to level up to lvl3 and unlocked a new mission, plane and a few weapons kits. HAWX is fun, pretty and appears to be a great gaming challenge to those that like flight games as well as those who have around $3 of currency to spend on what appears to be a solid, polished Gameloft Symbian^3 release.”
