Video: Beautiful Time Lapse with Upcoming Lapse App for #N8productions
It takes some effort when entering a video competition not just to compose/shoot the video, but also to create an app that will make your desired effect.
As you know, I’m a fan of the old time lapse; this being somewhat a secret/untapped feature in the old S60 3rd edition phones (e.g. N95). Iain Wallace sought to bring this back for Nokia users and in glorious HD! (Yeah, we’ve got a Time Lapse app on Ovi Store but all results currently are quite blocky).
We last saw his work on a Snow Fox and now Iain has finished his piece for the N8 producers competition. There’s a nice pairing going on here between the visuals and the music. I particularly like the panning that was going on during time lapse, a subtle but wonderful effect that’s quite easy to mess up if you’re not extremely careful.
I love fast moving clouds! 😀 Can’t wait for this to appear on Ovi Store 😀 Kinda makes me want to charge up my N82 and do some time lapsing again. Will definitely give it ago after exams.
