Today is a very big day for Nokia. So much speculation has circulated not only through the blogosphere or even outer interwebs, but reaching terestrial TV. It’s a shame that when friends are talking to me about Nokia being on TV it’s because they’re being reporte as “going down the pan” or “in deep trouble”. You’d swear they were on the verge of bankruptcy.

Look who was trending

Engadget upsidedown. 3 of the 5 top story panels are Nokia! The most commented article that day was about NOKIA despite PALM releasing major devices.

Today should be when much of the speculation may be settled, though it wouldn’t be too far a thought that it may open up much more questions.

Please save the date – February 11, 2011 – Nokia Strategy and Financial Briefing in London.

This will be a half-day event, with registration and lunch starting at 11 a.m. UK time, followed by presentations and Q&A from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. UK time. For those not attending in person, a webcast will be available.

I was told things kick of at 10am GMT. Not sure where to find itinerary if any. I’ll update if I find more info.

I’m on a hectic schedule today but I’ll try to get posted as soon as I can what’s happening so there’s somewhere to discuss what’s happening. If not, the discussion can be left in this post.

What are you seriously expecting? And after what ever is revealed – what’s your reaction?
