N97 Mini New Firmware Update 2.0 Coming Q2 2011(v2x.x.xxx)
Tipped by @umarnagi, this screenshot from forum Nokia support discussions confirming that the Nokia N97 mini is to get a new firmware update – PR2.0. In Q2 2011.
I wouldn’t think this is the same PR2.0 that Symbian^3 users are waiting for.
Currently, the latest version for N97 mini should be: v12.0.110. I think this may be equivalent

well. Am waiting for n8 update. Can’t wait to get that UI update.
Well it cant be 2.0 for Symbian^3 for obvious reasons. But saying that, if there where any older Symbian phones that could handle Symbian^3, I guess the N97 would be it.
The lower memory and gpu, would be a stubbing block to performance.
Hmm maybe they should release a N97 mini plus or somehting, just take the 3.2 clear black screen and all the inner parts off the Nokia C6-01 and put it in the N97 mini body , it would be like a small E7, there is still a market for touchscreen phones with a nice slide out keyboard.

Couldn´t agree more with you. Price range of 300-400€, hdmi, USB OTG and some nice cam -> My next phone with out a doubt!
the new update sucks with the internet and navigation you have to low memory to save so he stops whit what hes doing. shortly i want the old version @bad nokia N97 mini

n97 should receive pr 3.0
Maybe it brings the interface enhancements of the c5-03, like single tap interaciton and tap and hold menus.
nokia should try their best to persuade or pay some developers to make app for s3
like msn live
My N97mini is still in nokia service for about two weeks now for repair, the screen touch panel does not work when i em out on cold whether, but if this new FW will not satisfies me with web-lags and huge memory hunger on web-sites, than i will smash my phone on nokia shop window, and newer look back!
Fingers crossed…lets hope it fixes the ram leaks and some ui changes similar to C5-03 and C6…

I have problems with wi-fi. I can’t connect to my home accesses point. (Invalid server name). Is there anyone who has such problem? I hope it’ll fix this…

I Just did the Latest software release for Nokia N97 Mini is 30.0.004, now I can’t connect to my wifi.
If i go to my settings where my wifi used to be it is not there anymore, can someone please help me with this?
