Video: Celebrity Red Carpet Face Mapping Nokia E7 elaborate subway ad

Here’s something I thought was very cool. It’s a very elaborate set up promoting the Nokia E7. A subway station is taken over with Nokia advertising, with celebrity red carpet appeal. Using face mapping and a Nokia N8 (bezel much thicker, prominent right screen lock and strong xenon flash – and the green autofocus box :p), passengers photos are taken and meshed onto the body of a “celeb” in a video where they’re on a red carpet event for the Nokia E7. The result is kinda cool, more creepy. But I really want to applaud Nokia for the effort and out of the box thinking. Reminds me of some youtube videos where there are elaborate set ups that interact with the public (e.g. the forever falling bin and stairs that make music…I forget what channel that is)

Why the close up shot is using an iPhone, I don’t know.
