Red Nokia N8 coming, suggests Nokia N8 accessory. Approved by Nokia fans.
On Tuesday, Nokia Conversations asked you guys what new colour you’d like the Nokia N8 to be. We also asked readers here.
The majority voted for RED. Both polls coming out at 35% majority. The next largest being “other” (a mix of excellent ideas including camo, white, white with blue racing stripes, or clear gorilla glass). Purple was the third (though clearly the next preferred after red).
Devin from the Nokia Guide has seen some accessories for the Nokia N8 which indicates a red Nokia N8 is coming.
There are some hard covers (Nokia CC-3013) available for the Nokia N8. Available in all standard Nokia N8 colours (except black).
This includes BLUE, GREEN ORANGE and SILVER. But there are 5 cases. The 5th – is RED.

My N8 is currently sporting a red silicone cover. Pictured also on the 5th. Not as nice as having it direct on the metal.

i like it in red
but here’s another idea that they bring out 32 gb n8 with five new colour : red,white,dark blue,yellow and purple(or any other colour)!!!
hopefully available at other retailers other than mobilephones direct who don’t deal with orange …
*sigh*
Why didn’t launch it along with the other colors since day one? What’s the purpose of this? Publicity to attract sales? Why don’t just Nokia work on improving the user experience with their phones? Or attend to the complaints of their unsatisfied and frustrated customers who bought defective N8 units?
It’s easier to build a new red case for the N8 than to fix every issues in the OS…
if your N8 is defective dude, get it replaced under warrenty. Mine has been pretty flawless since i bought it

haha yes i was hoping for a red N8 originally (last year before release) but I am a huge fan of Nokias Plum coloured phones
Im also a big fan of the Grovemade cases for the Iphone (custom design bamboo cases) sadly they have no interest in expanding their lineup to include other devices -_-
carbon fibre will be amazing!!!
carbon fiber would be nice but the bad thing is that it scratches easily and if you drop your phone it will probably break at the point of impact…. stylin red the other day i mean red white and blue separately and the other part was a joke
Would love to see a N8-01 with a higher resolution screen, same camera, with more body colours and additional accessories, with Nokia Big Screen included in firmware, Nokia Panaroma, Nokia Bubbles etc.etc.etc.
This will be successor to the N8-00.
All support will come from Nokia beta labs for the software…..
i really want there cases… Thou im not a fan of outer cases… But the silver for my silver n8 looks really appealing.
Every day I’m loving my n8 more and more… New wonderful qt applications every day, new beta labs apps every other week, new cases, and the promised new ui… It’s just getting better and better… Really hope Nokia sticks with symbian and always looking innovations with it… And i really hope Nokia continues with the n8 line… N8-01/02/03…

Couldn’t agree more, the N8 is already a topnotch phone, just a couple of months to go for total perfectness.

But in France the only way to get a coloured one at this time is to go to NOKIA on line store…

Nokia should improve the hardware if they make this red edition. 1500mah battery, CBD screen, 512mb ram, clock CPU to 700-800mhz

Can some one please tell where i can get one of the nokia covers they only have them in uk but I live in us.
I hope they make the screen bezel “ring” out of anodized aluminium too, that one gets scratched really easy as oposed to the body.
It would be amazing if nokia could somehow add a led flash into these covers!
