Windows Phone Market Share between the manufacturers

Here’s an interesting chart that’s going around for Windows Phone Related news.

Windows Phone Manufacturer Market Share estimation. Estimates from where?

“based on the handsets running applications using the AdGAC ad control”.

Well, extrapolating from that we get these charts.

It’s very early days yet for Windows Phone. Not even a year (Launch October 2010) and you’ve got all these handsets below.

That said, there is such intense competition from Android and iOS so such high numbers of Windows Phone handsets (variants included) is no where near yet an indication of success for MS.

Nokia’s WinPhone market share? Currently ZERO of course having no phones on sale.

In 2011, the first Windows Phone from Nokia may be launched.

In 2012, there’ll be a dozen new Nokia Win Phones – at different price brackets as it tries to fill the massive boots of Symbian.

What may we expect perhaps end of 2012 (hopefully just before the end of the world?) might be something more resembling Pac Man.

Yellow of course would show Nokia’s share (hopefully) with pink (?) showing everyone else. Hopefully due more to Nokia’s success with Windows Phone rather than the other companies ditching it.
