The ad is as crap as the phone is good.
Stupidest commercial ever.
I could not sit through 20 seconds of it. How about actually showing what the phone can do instead of showing random people for a whole minute?
Nokia, just go ahead and do everybody else does, copy Apple and their commercials.
Though if I’m wrong and the phone can really freeze the world like that when you use, and the commercial was a display of the feature then I apologize and I’ll buy one for sure. Can it freeze people like that? I’d love that. Or is it so slow that using it makes you feel like the time itself slowed down?

yeah the ad was a little underwhelming
but i think the point of it is to show where you are in the real world and what you’re doing at that time and how it ties into the use of the phone

shice wenn das N9 jetzt das Maß aller Dinge bei NOKIA sein soll haben sie aber definitiv nicht aufgepasst –
8MP sind nicht besser als 12 beim N8
und wo sind der HDMI-Anschluss und der Speicherkarten Slot? und wieso ist Plaste jetzt besser als Aluminium?
Nur weils einfacher ist Plaste in verschiedenen Farben anzubieten.. und Billiger
Ehrlich das N9 ist was die Geschwindigkeit angeht sicher n brüller aber das N8 hat wohl definitiv mehr zu bieten…
Ich will endlich das Kagg ANNA Update für das Kagg Symbian ^3 … shice gemähre….
HorstGünther, es kommt nicht nur auf die MP an, die Kamera hat was die restlichen Werte angeht zugelegt und Nokia hat die hellsten verfügbaren Leds in das Ding eingebaut.
Polcarbonat ist extrem widerstandsfähig, kratzresistent, leicht(!) und hat eine hervorragende(!) Durchlässigkeit für Signale – DeathGrip ein Begriff?
Speicherkartenslot bei 64GB? Come on!
HDMI soll Gerüchteweise mittels Adapter über microUSB kommen, also entspann dich und warte ab oder werde weiter mit deinem N8 glücklich.

It´s not all about the MP – camera specs have improved quite a bit and Nokia is putting the brightest Leds available into that thing.
Polycarbonate offers durable, leightweight experience without interfering with the GSM/CDMA signals.
No sd card when 64 gigs are offered? I can live with that.
Rumors say that HDMI will be supported over microUSB via an adpter.
Die Cam hat zugelegt? was ist das denn fürn Hersteller??? Carl Zeiss isn Name der Zieht 8 MP von Haribo ist keine konkurenz…
Und trotzdem wird das wieder n Plastebomber…isja toll wenn man damit besseren Empfang hat aber es fühlt sich trotzdem billig an
und nix gegen LEDs aber n XenonBlitz ist Pro… und jeder der was von Fotographie weis nimmt lieber n Xenon als ne Spielzeuch LED…Sorry bei 4 LEDs denke ich kommste an die Lichtausbeute von nem Xenon ran!
Es ist immernoch die Rede von 16GB im N9 und da hätte definitiv das N8 die Nase Vorn – n CardSlot ist kein Luxus sondern manchmal sinnvoll wenn man Bilder Sharen will und nicht die Mäusegeschwindigkeit nutzen mag ( 4MB/s über USB )
Lesen täte Dir gut, es wird zwei Varianten geben. 16GB und 64GB. Vielen wird die kleine Variante reichen und die 64GB machen einen Kartenslot zumindest für die nächsten Jahre hin unnötig.
Und die Cam im N9 hat ebenfalls ein Objektiv von Zeiss.
Naja zumindest sollte man aufpassen: Quelle Wikipedia: Amerikanischen und japanischen Untersuchungen zufolge stehen Polycarbonate im Verdacht, bei Erhitzung (z. B. in der Mikrowelle) Zersetzungsprodukte wie Bisphenol A (BPA) abzusondern, die gesundheitliche Schädigungen hervorrufen können.

Is an italian site/blog, the guy that is making the video say “we are doing a preview”.
this is not a TV ad, if that’s what some critics belive, it’s a flash video for the website. It ends with “swipe left or right”, not exactly what you do on the TV or even on YouTube. Go to the site and click drag to understand. swipe.nokia.com
The UI looks pretty good. I want to see a proper review when this comes out, though. How’s the e-mail client? Is it the same unreliable mess that Symbian “graces” us with? The browser? Does it have a decent Social Network client? These things matter in today’s smartphone world.
Nokia fans constantly rip on other platforms saying that all they have is a “pretty UI.” Let’s see if this new Meego OS falls into that same “category.” It looks impressive, but how is the UX?
