| July 17, 2011 | 14 Replies

On Thursday we heard about a new game on Ovi Store called “Eternal Legacy“. A 300MB adventure game from Gameloft.

Of course, who other than Camb078 should give us a  demo on his silver N8.

Here’s the ovi store link:

So for those who downloaded – what did you think?

      you are blind!!!

Actually, he’s right. I’ve got an iPad 2 to compare with my N8 and the framerate is lower in comparison

well i got my game finally working (the sound) and im impressed that theres voice acting for everything/one normally with games only special interactions will be voiced

however the voice acting sounds very robotic and rather amateurish

i like that you can control the camera with your finger however it can become bothersome i can’t help but feel the game would be better if the camera was fixed

the story, so far, seems kind of weak

the fight mechanics runs rather well although being able to endlessly program moves kind of disconnects you from the action at hand if the time between actions executing was shortened it would improve the feel of the game and help immerse you into the battle otherwise its like you’re watching someone play

but having an rpg like this on a handheld i suppose you can give it a lot of allowances, overall Im pleased

I bought it, played for like 15 minutes but I like it so far. Good job on the graphics.

philippines ovi store not available.. want to buy hd games on store but its NA..

  • I purchased it when I saw the post on MNB, and I’m already 9 hours into this game (actually 7 hours and 13 mins by the game time, but in real life I spent some 10 hours or so playing. In-game clock stops counting when you are on the menus (e.g. equipping characters etc).

I guess I’m almost on the end of the game. This is pretty awesome!

  • I simply LOVE the fact you can control the camera by yourself. I feel like I’m playing a computer game, seriously.

It’s very fun to walk around and explore the places, I find myself “guiding” the character playing with two fingers all the time and I simply love it, it gives you full control of the game. I seriously hope they release more games like this (but preferably other genres).

Played it already,IT IS AWESOME!!!!!i am level 36 right now and on chapter 5,i use Nokia N8

Played for like 30min and i had a headache lol. N8’s screen’s too small, have to strain my eyes to read the text, framerate’s not exactically consistant either.

Technical Performance aside, overall i guess this game isn’t my cup of tea. Played it on the iPad also couldn’t last me 30min either. Voice acting is non existant, battle system’s half assed, and the dialogue worst of all made me throw up in my mouth quite abit.

Though i gotta praise them for being able to bring this kind of graphical level to the N8. Really supprised my N8 was able to handle it.
Graphics alone don’t make a good game. Take Zenonia or Inotia for example. I think games like that would be perfect for the N8. =)
