Update: Here’s another teaser for the #NokiaGulp video that is said to be ‘coming soon’. This latest behind the scenes video reveals pixilation artist Todd, and his role in the project.

If you’re interested to see a new piece of the puzzle that makes #NokiaGulp or simply interested in animation, I definitely suggest to give this short video a look.

Here’s a quick and insightful teaser for the upcoming #NokiaGulp video where Nokia aims to set a new world record. The video features Jamie Wardley, one of the sand artists, giving us a bit of insight behind the creation of the world’s biggest stop motion animation video that was all shot using the kick-ass Nokia N8 camera!

Just to remind you, I was also at the filming location back in June, and you can check my impressions as well as the gallery, here!

P.S. Thanks @MattSimpo for the tip!

Talk about burying their heads in the sand.

    Ostrich nokia.

nokia, please set a record for losses in Q3. That will be fantastic.

Not exactly a constructive post, but I have to admit that I laughed.

    • I was waiting for you Cod3rror :)
I guess we make a good team xD

    • Jeff says:

      Um, it’s called building a positive image/perception.
Of course that alone doesn’t suffice, but it helps.

      • Cod3rror says:

You build a positive image by making good products, keeping your promises, and delivering updates.

nokia: “Hey, remember that update we promised you a year ago and still haven’t delivered? Remember our inferior third rate products that no one wants to buy? Well… here’s a sand fish and sand castles for your…”

        That’s a great image!

Apple does not need to play in the sand, they do what matters and what people want, delivering superb products.

But if you work for nokia it must be a very easy job though… “Honey what are you doing? Eh, I’m here on the beach playing in the sand, getting paid by those suckers at nokia”.

No wonder they lost half a billion.

Anyone can frame an argument to suit their color lenses.
That is all you you ever do…

          In case you hadn’t noticed….
There’s been a massive raft of changes in the past yr+ to prevent mistakes that have occurred, or still in the pipeline, from reoccurring.

You won’t start to see real improvements (if any) until the next quarter or two.
          Give it time….

But you don’t want to, and never will.
As you’re the least impartial/objective individual I’ve ever observed.

        • Jeff says:

It’s an ad, not everything is a metaphor or has a deeper meaning, like you seem to think.

        • Bear Market says:

Based on your comments Cod3rror, sounds like you are a guy with a brilliant mind and make enough money that you can buy whatever handset you wish. I´m pretty much sure everyone, by now, have gotten your point. sort of…

So why don´t you go and play with your superior handset instead of boring the shit out of everyone here. Some blog followers have worked with corporate strategies long enough to know that Nokia now is the only mobile handset maker that now has clearly defined strategy.

So enjoy this unique future textbook example of corporate turnaround attempt happening under our eyes instead of whining here because you lost a few bucks in the stock market or got sacked by the company that realized what actually caused their downfall and acted accordingly.

The thumbnail pic of this article on the main page is huge in size, 4 000px × 2 248px and ~1.5 MB. I recommend resizing it, because it’s making the main page unnecessarily heavy.
