Angry Birds Seasons: Update, Moon Festival (v1.6.0)

| September 5, 2011 | 4 Replies

Just last week we posted about an update for Angry Birds seasons which was admittedly a little late. But today we bring you news about yet another update for that addictive bird slinging and pig destructing game.

This time the update is the ‘Mooncake Festival’, an update themed towards the Mid-Autumn festival that is primarily celebrated in China, Vietnam and Korea. A festival that is all about celebrating the end of the fall harvesting season, I don’t really know much about the festival beyond that, but for your reading pleasure there is this Wikipedia link.

The game itself consists of 30 new levels and 3 more special levels that can be unlocked by ‘liking’ Angry Birds on Facebook. Get the update now through the OVI store’s update mechanism (be aware of a long installation time) or just tap the globe icon inside your Angry Birds Seasons game to get it directly.

Question, is the only way to install angry birds is by installing each file one by one from the beginning or can you just install the latest .sis and be done with it.

I am debating if I want to go through all the work on my N8 that has Belle on it

I had to uninstall my “summer of games” free angry birds seasons in order to pay to play this one πŸ™

The pigs wearing the traditional chinese hats looks so cute. I love this new update! It’s a good move on the part of Rovio to commemorate the Mid-Autumn Festival since China is fast becoming their number one market.
