Force Control Widget demoed on Nokia N8, quick settings for homescreen (with rotation lock switch!)

Mark Guim from TheNokiaBlog demoed an app yesterday called “Force Control”. Obligatory Star Wars joke…blah…blah..done.

This is actually a very useful widget giving you quick controls over brightness, Bluetooth, accelerometer (Thus acting as a rotation lock button!) and profile switcher.

We’ve shown some Ovi Store apps that have replicated the drop down status bar to give similar controls (e.g. Setting Bar). Here, it acts as a widget on your homescreen.
