According to the Danish 3 Network, The Nokia N9 will be available tomorrow. 30th September in store and online.

From their facebook page it says:

Nokia N9 lander i vores butikker og på webshoppen d. 30/9. I den forbindelse afholder Nokia launch party i 3Huset på Strøget (Kbh) og i 3Butikken i Bruuns Galleri (Aarhus), hvor vi fejre Nokia N9s ankomst med rød løber, champagne og gang-i-den ved Kuku Agami (Kuku Agami kun i kbh.).

When fed into a translator, this says:

    No problem! :)

Nokia Danmark says Telia Denmark will release it tomorrow too ;)

  2. ajmal says:

Not a happy news for the Countries that miss N9. :\
First time I dislike being an Indian.

    • Marcel says:

Even we in Germany as a direct neighbour of Denmark have bad chances to get it… We have to wait for retailers here to have it in stock. I already talked to several Danish and Norwegian retailers and operators… they won’t ship it outside of their countries… :-(

      • Stefanix says:

They don’t want to sell it outside Denmark / Norway? Reminds me on canabis on Holland: Nowadays only for people living in the country.
What is the EU about? Free flow of goods and services??
The N9. Forbidden as cannabis outside of the Nokia designated countries.

        • henk says:

You are very wrong about canabis in the Netherlands. I’m from the Netherlands and it’s sold to anyone who walks into a coffeeshop. Can anyone in Denkmark buy a N9 for me and send it to the Netherlands??

          • Stefanix says:

OK, I heard that it’s planned to limit the sale to prevent the canabis tourism.

Anyway, it feels like Nokia wants to limit the availability, I read even that they tried to set online shops under pressure.

JUST FOUND: there are online shops in Switzerland, shipping WORLDWIDE and with good prices! Availability soon. Don’t want to publish links here, use Google.

    • sumod says:

Dear Ajmal, if they are not launching on diwali then they’ll never launch in India as simple as that

    • Viipottaja says:

Well you should still be happy for fellow human beings! I thought the Indians we people with such compassion. ;) :P

  3. JFH says:

Crap, and the wait goes on for the rest of us.

  4. BellGo says:

Releasing tomorrow? As in I could just walk to a store to get one? Well, good.

Does anyone know if they have advertised the N9 at all in Denmark?

  5. ZiiimZooon says:

X-hund from Mobildebat says that he got his N9 today from 3!!

  6. Jaydee says:

Now we’ll wait for the consumers’ unboxings n hand-ons.. =)
Love to see their reactions n enthusiams..

  7. Kasper Valentin says:

I got mine in the mail today, I’ve been having fun with it, so it seems us that preordered the N9 from 3 got a slight headstart on everybody else.

    • Grazy says:

how is it! dying to get one of these!

      • Kasper Valentin says:

It’s good, prety much exactly like the videos. Although, gotta say, if Maemo wasn’t ready for mass marked, neither is Meego – They pretty much suffer from the same problems, very convoluted menus, everything is in there, somewhere – just gotta look for it.

So far I’m impressed, setup was a breeze, although merging FB contacts with phone contacts took some figuring out. Plays everything I’ve thrown at it, video and audio, browser is very fast (Compared to the N900), push notifications work, camera is solid, keyboard is good, with the same tactile type-feedback from the N900, though more powerful. Battery life seems good, shouldn’t be a problem squeezing an entire days work out of it (Is with the N900).

It’s not the greatest phone ever, but I’m fairly sure it’s the best Nokia phone in a very, very long time. Did I mention push notifications work? That’s a huge improvement over the N900, getting FB updates and emails as they happen, not having to sync. Yay for that.

        • blessedMan says:

why can’t you just say the phone is awesome ? :)

        • elchi says:

Hey I have never found a video that explains the facebook application for the n9… Can you tell me if you can receive messages with push notifications ? (I mean real messages not the chat) I really miss that on my nokia c7 at the moment. Also it would be nice if you can tell me if you get a notification if somebody comments your status or likes it. I would really aprreciate an answer. :)

  8. gen says:

i spoke to the manager at Crazy john’s, one of Australia’s biggest mobile dealers. He said that the N9 will arrive in about a weeks time in Australian stores

  9. Grazy says:

I wonder where the UK stock will come from for retailers such as mobile fun/play and expansys? Will it be imported? or will it be UK specific i.e. UK plug etc!

I guess it could be a any time now!… or never!!!

  10. Nander says:

I just got a mail from 3 Sweden, saying the exact same thing (that it will be released tomorrow).

I have my preordered with them, but no N9 today :( And I’m going away on vacation for a week, so I’ll have to wait until next Thursday…

  11. ricky says:

    whats the price?

but that guy, elop! He’s jus tryin so hard to prevent us 4m getin one of these…

    • Viipottaja says:

How? [Other than if you are in a country where they are not releasing it due to the board approved strategy]

      • Toto says:

By pricing it expensively and not making a lot of them. It is diffcult to imagine a worse launch for a device on terms of timing (iPhone 5 next week), announcement delay (more than 3 months) and message (no more meego devices)

  12. Kelvin says:

Elop doesn’t want to be proven so wrong by the N9 global sales number… Think Steve Ballmer is calling Elop to bed as I type this…

  13. Vlado says:

This phone deserves a global launch. Its too big to be ignored like that.. Nokia makes very little sense since Elop took the wheel. I hope the board know what they are doing

    • dr_zorg says:

Everybody hoped Hitler knew what he was doing in the 1930′s… But it turned out otherwise. My point is: don’t be overly hopeful.

  14. yabai.youth says:

I wonder how Nokia will manage to integrate a funeral portion into the launch party; seeing how the N9 is the first and last Meego device. I think this would most successfully be done at the end of the party where a giant Meego logo gives birth to a Tizen logo, however unfortunatly due to complications Meego passes away seconds after childbirth. Perfect analogy!

  15. ravo says:

I got a mail from the swedish 3 too.. it seems that they will also get it tomorrow
